Church of the Ascension dinner and auction

On Friday, 21 November, the Church of the Ascension in Hamilton, ON decided to take the PWRDF’s 50th Anniversary slogan of CAFE to heart! Over 100 people of the Diocese of Niagara gathered for an evening of fun and frivolity. The night started with a fantastic meal and ample desserts, and learned more of the PWRDF’s history and current mission and ministry over coffee and tea. The height of the evening was the live auction where a number of donated items were bid upon by our keen auctioneer (who would not rest until more money was raised!) All in all, this casual evening brought in over $2600 for the Primate’s Fund, and let everyone know that in the Diocese of Niagara we are committed to support the good works!
