Diocese of New Westminster Anniversary Banquet

This autumn marks the 50th anniversary of the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF), and there’s going to be a party to celebrate it on Saturday, October 3 at St. Philip’s Church, 3737 W. 27th Ave., Vancouver. We will begin with a no host bar at 6:30 p.m. with the dinner to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Mark your calendar and plan to attend this very special banquet hosted by Bishop Michael Ingham. We will enjoy delicious food, toe-tapping entertainment with East Coast flair, and hear stories of the good work that has been achieved through the generosity of Canadian Anglicans who have contributed more than $80 million to the PWRDF since its beginning. Our uplifting speaker will be Cheryl Curtis, Executive Director of PWRDF.

Tickets for this diocesan banquet are $50, available by phoning Eileen Nurse at the synod office at (604) 684-6306 ext 228. You can also place an order for tickets through St. Mary’s parish office at (604) 261-4228. Those in attendance will be encouraged to make a financial pledge in honour of PWRDF's anniversary over and above current support. Our fundraising goal at this event is $50,000 in cash and pledges.
